LHS to offer Tour and Taste event on Oct. 17, 2026
The Lambertville Historical Society's popular autumn tour, scheduled for October 17, will allow visitors to experience historic and architectural landmarks as well as outstanding art and food. The Tour and Taste event will include a stroll through the downtown, visits to two restored homes, guided tours of a historic church and a renowned art gallery, as well as visits to three fine food purveyors.
The 2.5-hour Guided Tour includes:
Main-floor viewing with historical commentary of two “classic Lambertville” Victorian Era showcase homes built in 1890 and 1891
Tour of the Jim’s of Lambertville art gallery, spotlighting Bucks County Impressionist masterpieces
Tour of lower floor and main space of the First Presbyterian Church, founded in 1816
Tastings at Under The Moon (empanadas), Savour (artisanal cheeses), La Chocolate Box (gourmet treats)
“This is a one-day-only experience that combines many of our favorite things - -historic home interiors, Lambertville’s oldest church, artistic masterpieces, and fine food,” said Michael Menche, president of LHS.
There will be only 25 people per guided tour. Two tours begin in the morning and two in the afternoon. Capacity is limited to 100 participants and tickets must be purchased in advance – no later than October 10.
